Firmenich's Mirabelle base takes that delicate scent and builds a fantasy chord around it, of lactones, fruit, spices and florals. Mirabelle Base is unusual on first sniff, with its powerful lactones dominating the opening, shortly followed by the classic plum aroma chemicals and finally a balsamic cinnamon dry down which is very beautiful.
